Included with every account
Start with 10 pages on us
Sign in with Google and the first 10 pages sent to the AI reader are free. They are part of the account, not a ticking trial — use them now or in six months.
10 AI pages free
Enough to read the first chapter of a scanned book and see whether the AI reader suits it.
Free local OCR
Tesseract runs in your browser with no account and no page limit. The free path never expires and never uses a credit.
No recurring bill
No card is kept on file for a subscription. No renewal date. Buy another pack only when your balance runs low.
Choose clearly
Local OCR or AI reading?
Both turn scanned pages into text. They are good at different things.
Free Local OCR
Tesseract in your browser. Nothing leaves the device.
- No account, no page limit
- Best on clean, straight scans
- Works offline after language data is loaded
- May struggle with layout, faint print and mixed scripts
AI AI page reader
A vision model that treats each page like a document, not a bitmap.
- Sign in with Google; 10 free pages
- Better on difficult scans and complex layouts
- One page charged per page read
- Page images are sent to our server, not stored
Questions
Page-pack details
Do pages expire?
No. Paid AI pages stay on your account until you use them. They are not tied to a month or a device.
What counts as a page?
One scanned PDF page sent to the AI reader. Text-layer PDFs, local OCR and normal conversions do not use pages. A failed AI request is not charged.
Can I buy without signing in?
Yes, but use the same email as your ConvertEbooks Google account. Pages are attached to that email; after you sign in, they appear in your balance. Signing in first is simpler.
What is your refund policy?
Unused page packs can be refunded within 14 days. Used pages are not refundable. See Refunds for the full policy.
Why not a monthly subscription?
Most people convert a few books, not a few books a week. A one-time pack matches that. If you need more, buy more — no renewal to remember.
